Unity amongst women …..  The Outeniqua Business Professional Women’s Club held it’s annual candlelighting ceremony last week.  This event suymbolised the collective effort made towards uplifting women and communities throughout the world.  As an international organisation, BPW has clubs throughout the world.  The theme for this year’s event was “Hawaii” and the women dressed accordingly.  The BPW in George has several projects to help women in desperate need.  The Phambili Shelter for Battered Women is one of the beneficiaries which had received significant support from the community.
